Good crosswind technique recommended on windy days as strong winds from west tend to circulate around the mountain to the west (Mt Burdelle) and sometimes result in a strong crosswind as well as turbulence for runway 13 OR 31. As a CFI, recommend no students here on XCs unless winds are very light.
