I was just at RST yesterday; first time in as a private pilot - other times have been for Angel Flight or Air Lifeline. They said I could save paying the charge if I purchased fuel paying the $21 ramp fee...by buying fuel, either truck fuel @ $6.42 and self-serve at $5.42(similar to many other Midwest airports). I took the self-serve and all were happy. Signature is an excellent FBO with great services; this seems like a fair deal to me. - On Jul-06-2008, anonymous said:
KRST has only one FBO. It is a Signature. Beware! Fuel is crazy expensive and they have absolutely outrageous ramp fees. The FAR better choice is to use KAUM (Austin). They have an ILS, are friendly, rental cars are cheap, and it is only about 30 minutes from RST. If you are in a TMB, King Air, or jet consider this as an alternative. You won't be sorry!
