I fly into KTUS fairly often and I agree with the above comments. KAVQ is not so friendly to transients. Premier Aviation is a good resource if you have an airplane problem. They treated my problem quickly and fairly in terms of time and cost. - On Aug-16-2008, Michael MaKieve said:
Have flown into this airport several times (son attends college in Tucson). GA friendly airport; Executive Terminal very friendly, helpful staff. Fuel prices reasonable. Easy to get into and out of, and the occasional fighter jet landing parallel is an exciting plus.
